This race car was built by Cadillac to race in the American Le Mans series. The cars were built between 2000 and 2002 before General Motors scrapped the idea to focus on their Corvette racing program.

Only 3 examples of this unique vehicle were made. The Rolls Royce V-8 was designed as competition for the electric cars of the day and so, even though it was gas driven, was designed to be quiet and have as little vibration as possible. It doesn't seem to have been much of a success, but the engine led Rolls Royce on a future design path for all their power plants.

Released in 2017, this grand tourer takes the form of a two-door fastback coupe. Its development follows on from the 2012 LF-LC Concept first shown by Lexus in 2012. The LC is powered by either a 3.5-liter hybrid V6 or a 5.0-liter V8 gas engine.

A real looker, The SJ was only for the rich and famous. After all, it was produced during the Depression, so the man in the street was certainly not going to get behind the wheel. These cars had a supercharged motor and were capable of traveling at over 100 mph.

Although still operating from the United Kingdom, Jaguar is owned by the India company, Tata which acquired the marque in 2008. Interestingly, the iconic mascot which appears on the hood of most models is chrome plated and known as ‘The Leaper’. The Jaguar F type first hit the market in 2013. This sports car is available as both a 2-door roadster and fastback coupe.

The Breadvan... yes, well look at it. It does look like a delivery van of sorts. This was a Ferrari 250 GT modified by a privateer, Count Giovanni Volpi, for his Scuderia Serenissima racing team. And it almost beat the Ferrari racing team at the 1962 Le Mans endurance race. While 4th overall and ahead of the 250 GT's of the Italian marque, the Breadvan suffered engine failure.

This front engine, front-wheel drive compact SUV was first released in 2011. It is the top-selling SUV in the Chinese auto market.

A small family car, the 303 was manufactured by BMW from 1933 to 1934. This was the first of the maker's models to feature the grille that is so famous today as well as being the first BMW vehicle to have a six-cylinder engine.

The 323, also know at the Familia in Japan, was a small compact car marketed by Mazda for 40 years from 1963. All in all, the Familia included eight generations, each with a range of body styles including wagons, hatchbacks and sedans.

By the time 1996 rolled along, the Lotus Esprit had been in production for over 20 years. The V8, however, quickly became a firm favorite. Like all the Formula 1 cars in the '50s, the Maserati 250 had a cylindrical shape. Don't be fooled, however, this was a monster. In fact, at the 1957 German Grand Prix, Juan Manuel Fangio, driving a 250F was 48 seconds behind the leader with 22 laps left. He caught him and won the race!

Built between 1998 and 2007, the Wildcat was made by Bowler industries using a range of parts, even those from Land Rover Defenders. Wildcats had a range of engine options including three gas (4, 4.6 and 5 liters V8’s) and two turbo diesel (2.2 and 2.5 liters).
